Children's Bahá'í Education Service

Who are we & what do we do?

The CBES not only promotes, assists and monitors the 15 Community Schools around the country, but all the children’s classes and junior youth activity groups or peace clubs as well.
We are an agency of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the UK.

Some community schools have their own web sites.

Our members are:

    Mitali Peckham (secretary)

    Shiva Finch (chair)

    Karen Yazdi (treasurer)

Clare Whitehead

Clare Whitehead is a new member of the CBES (since Autumn 2000) and lives in rural South Shropshire with her husband and three sons (aged 12, 10 and 8).
She was involved in the formation of the first Thomas Breakwell school in 1985 and has taught in a small Sunday School in Shrewsbury for many years.
