Shining Lights Baha'i School students Bayan and Rohan Jalalizadeh,
created a website for Baha'i children
called Bayan and Rohan's Spiritual Message.
They named the site for the meaning of their first names --
Rohan means "spiritual" and Bayan means "message."

Following is a beautiful poem written by Shining Lights Baha'i School student
Roxana Daneshjou

A Tribute to the Brave Souls of 9/11

Cowards destroyed it,
Bravery will restore it,
Oh majestic Twins.

Crisp autumn day that so alludes,
Steal the lives of great multitudes.
Pave the path for the hero's way,
That courage save the tragic day.

A searing heat overtakes hope,
But valiant souls were made to cope,
Into fire and dark, they ran-
Firefighters, elite of man.

For sake of others, sacrifice
So cowardice cannot entice.
Those who could flee safely, return,
Helping the many who might burn.

In the blood stained sky, terror thrives
Hungry for more innocent lives,
But courage lies within that plane,
From those who wish the evil slain.

Flight Ninety-three took a brave stand,
To preserve their precious homeland,
Yielding not, terror they subdued
Giving their life in gallant mood.

Two dying towers melt away,
Taking with them those who stay,
Firemen that saved many lives,
In our hearts, their memory thrives.

Oh bold souls of that awful day,
Thy deeds shall never fade away.
For those who risk their lives to save,
Make America home of the brave.
