  Clevedon Baha'is qualify as tutors
   

Four of the Baha'is in North Somerset completed the sequence of training courses up to Book 7, the tutor training course. Now each of these tutors can offer the full sequence of study circle courses.

  Clevedon Baha'i joins UWE Chaplaincy team
   

Changes over the past year within the University of the West of England (UWE) Chaplaincy has created openings for multi-faith representatives to be on hand to offer information, support and guidance to staff and students. One of the Clevedon Baha'is was approached by the chaplain and asked to be an advisor for the Baha'i Faith. Find out more about the Chaplaincy and the Faith in the City initiative here...

The North Somerset Baha'i website went live after a bout of sickness by the webmaster provided the opportunity to design and create the site.
 

  Unity Feasts
    Although the communities are not yet large enough to establish Local Spiritual Assemblies we decided that we should go ahead and begin holding Unity Feasts open to everyone. These 'feasts' will nourish the spiritual and physical bodies and be a time for the sharing of news and experiences.
 
  The Twin Manifestations
    February saw the start of the Study Circle course of Ruhi book 4, The Twin Manifestations, for the first time in North Somerset bringing the Friends together again to study and learn how to introduce the teachings of the Baha'i faith to new enquirers.

  Spiritual Retreat at Winford Manor
    The North Somerset Baha'is had a tremendous time among new and old friends during this weekend retreat we organised at the Winford Manor Resort. See the 'Events' page for more details.  
 
  Children's Classes
    After many enjoyable months the Friends came to the end of the Ruhi book 3 'study circle' aimed at teaching us how to set up and run childrens classes focussed towards their moral and spiritual education.
