WHAT TO BRING

The male and female dorms are open rooms with bunk-beds - bedding and towels are necessary.

You may want: portable fans; warmer clothes for nighttime (altitude is over 1800 ft.); musical instruments or talent show props; swimming attire; money for snacks; bikes, sports equipment.

Please, no tape players/radios unless needed for presentations.

There is plenty of level ground suitable for tents.

THE CAMP OWNERS DO NOT PERMIT PETS.
 
 

COST

$50 per person (children under 3: free), covers lodging and meals for the entire retreat!

Registration fee of $15 due in advance. By-the-meal rates are available for day visitors.

HEAD FOR THE HILLS!... Directions to the Preston County 4-H Camp
Preston Co., WV, is found in the mountains, east of Morgantown, just below the Mason-Dixon Line. It is high, rural country. Take I-68 to the Bruceton Mills exit (Rt. 26). Go north, through the small town, 1.4 miles to Brandonville Pike. Turn right at Spear Funeral Home. Go 2.4 miles. You will see a 4-H sign on the left. Turn right onto a gravel road. Go slowly. It's 3/10 of a mile to the camp.
