Home Page of Gillingham Bahá'í Community The community consist of 21 members, of whom 16 are eligible to vote, being over the age of 21. The Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Gillingham was elected on 21st April 2002 The Assembly members will serve the community on an honorary basis for one year. They will administer day to day affairs of the community, which includes arranging of regular meetings, celebrations, commemorations and other activities that pertains to the community. The Assembly, in whichever way possible, will also help voluntary and charitable organizations and will encourage its community members to participate actively in functions organized by those organizations. The Assembly has representatives on local Interfaith group, who are actively involved in their activities.
