School Essay Contests - Race Unity For several years the Bahá'ís of Danville sponsored essay contests in one of the local high schools to encourage students to consider the root causes of racism and possible solutions. Scoring was based on the depth and creativity of essays, and plaques and cash awards are given to the top entries. If your school would like to establish such a project, contact Ed Langthorn at ed-lang@pacbell.net for more information. |
